SunFix (Pty) Ltd is a South African-owned and operated company, providing engineered solar mounting solutions to the commercial and domestic markets.
Our innovative products are designed by specialist engineers for quick, simple and easy installations. All proprietary components are locally manufactured to the highest professional standards, ensuring reliability and longevity in every installation.
Our unique and versatile solar mounting systems makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications and roof types. Additionally, we offer in-house engineering consulting services and can assist with your projects design and drafting requirements, from conceptualization to signoff.

Roof Mounted Product Range
Tiled Roofs
A non-penetrative solution featuring both horizontal and vertical adjustment capabilities to ensure a perfect fit for tile roofs.
The stainless steel bracket securely fastens directly into the timber rafter or truss, ensuring a proper load path and support for the rail.
Corrugated, IBR & Widespan Roofs
A penetrative solution spanning above and across roof sheet ribs, compatible with all corrugated, inverted box rib (IBR) and trapezoidal metal roof sheet profiles.
The extruded aluminium mounting, complete with insulating EPDM strips, ensure even load distribution and a weatherproof seal.
Concealed Fix Roofs
A non-penetrative clamp solution, compatible with Saflok and Klip-Tite concealed fix metal roof sheets.
The aluminium clamps, complete with EPDM lining, ensure that the high spec features of these roofs remain intact.
Other Roof Types (Fibre Cement, Asbestos, Slate, Harvey Tile)
A penetrative solution which fixes through the roofing material and into the purlin.
The stainless steel hanger bolt complete with EPDM sealing washer creates a weatherproof seal against the roof material, the exposed portion of the hanger bolt allows for vertical adjustment.
Rail
The SunFix Rail is the cornerstone of our solar mounting system, around which various mounts and fixings have been expertly designed.
Engineered and developed in-house from first principles and verified by independent engineers, the SunFix roof mounting system was designed to be the easiest and simplest to install while offering the highest span-to-weight ratio on the market.
The versatility of our rail allows for installation either across or with the roof slope, accommodating solar panels in both portrait and landscape orientations. This simple system ensures significant savings in both time and labour.
The SunFix Rail has a certified spanning capability which satisfies SANS 10160.
Engineering Consulting Services
We offer in-house engineering consulting services and can assist with the design and drafting of your solar projects. Successful solar installations require detailed general arrangement drawings that depict the roof and panel layout, along with precise technical installation details.
Our services include creating these drawings, determining wind loads, establishing building exclusion zones, and providing engineering sign-off upon project completion.
This value-added service allows our customers to leverage our professional engineering expertise as part of their overall offerings.
